We are heading back to the cabin for the weekend. It is nice family time. There is no TV or internet, but we bring a few french movies for the girls in case it rains all day. I hope to get some homework done and maybe some planning for next year too. I have decided to not do to many scheduled Montessori activities during the summer. I will follow Snow White’s lead, but not have “classroom time” each day as we want to do lots of outdoor activities, camping, gardening etc. (I think it is great that she loves these types of Practical Life activities.) I will make sure we work on our French Calendar and songs each day, as she is picking up on that quite well! Belle even seems to enjoy when we sing our french songs!
The drive to the cabin is 3 hours, so we listen to French CD’s the whole time. I am happy that I am learning the songs too!
