I am passionate about people. I want women to know their self worth and I want them to know that they are beautiful. Along with that comes my concern for women’s health both physical health and mental health.

This past spring my grandma passed away. Grieving is a tough thing, and through these past 6 months giving back and caring for others has taken on an even bigger meaning for me.

The Women’s College Hospital Foundation has teamed up with Avril Lavigne to create a cover song of “Keep Holding On’ featuring the voices of Canadians across the country. The remixed song has been released on iTunes, and the proceeds from every download go toward supporting Women’s College Hospital and the future of healthcare for women.

I love the song, I love the tune, and the words are so powerful…
