4 Ways Kids Can Help With Laundry Duty ~ #PGmom Sensitive Fabric Care Giveaway

Kids can help out with laundry at an early age — as long as Mom isn’t too particular about how the underwear and socks are folded.

 Kids can help with Laundry

4 Ways Kids Can Help With Laundry Duty

Empty the Dryer – Let’s face it.  Bending down to empty the dryer into a laundry basket is one of my least favorite jobs.  But it is perfect for a child who doesn’t have to bend down as far.

Empty the Lint Tray – This simple chore is something that HAS to get done.  Why not let your little one remove the lint from the tray and dispose of it?

Sort Laundry – About once a week, when my clean laundry pile has grown to the size of a small mountain, the kids and I head to the living room to sort through all the laundry.  Sorting the laundry into different piles (mommy’s socks, daddy’s socks etc) is a fun game for them.

Fold Laundry – Once all the laundry has been sorted into the different piles, the kids can find their individual piles and start to fold.  Some kids like to make neat little piles of their underwear and fold their socks precisely, while others don’t take as much care folding their laundry and may just throw the pieces into the drawer.

Our family is sensitive to scents and perfumes, so the Tide Free, Bounce Free & Ultra Downy Free product lines are perfect for our skin, and they don’t irritate our noses.

Softness for the skin you’re in—Sensitive skin laundry regimen
It’s no secret that our skin types are as varied as our individual personalities. For those of us with sensitive skin, the
winter months can be particularly difficult, as our skin becomes drier and more easily irritated.
P&G wants to ensure you can care for your fabrics and enjoy clean, soft and static free clothes and towels, even if your skin is sensitive to scents and dyes. Tide, Downy and Bounce have joined forces to provide a laundry regimen that’s gentle enough for sensitive skin.
1. Wash: Tide Free & Gentle Liquid Detergent has been specially designed for sensitive skin. It’s made with no dyes or perfumes and is dermatologist tested to provide your fabrics with a great clean that’s gentle on your skin.
2. Soften: Experience all the softness of Downy, free from dyes, perfumes, and worries. Ultra Downy Free & Sensitive Liquid Softener is the leading “free” fabric softener that’s also 100 per cent dermatologist tested so you can focus on enjoying fabrics that are wonderfully soft with less static and fewer wrinkles.
3. Protect: Use Bounce Free & Sensitive Dryer Sheets and enjoy the softness and static protection of regular dryer sheets without perfumes or dyes. It’s like sensitive skin’s BFF.
