What’s a farmers sausage, never heard sausages called that before. Bet a jalapeño would kick it up a notch.

Farmer sausage is a popular Mennonite sausage made from ground pork with salt and pepper. It is then smoked - and absolutely delicious. A jalapeño would add some nice heat to this recipe.
