My daughter turns 5 today and she had many requests for her cake this year, but this unicorn birthday cake was the front-runner.
She seems so grown up all the time that I can’t believe she’s not 8 already.
A few months ago she had already drawn me a picture of a cake with a unicorn, a number 5, a rainbow, and a princess and asked that I make her a unicorn birthday cake.
The girl knows what she wants!
UNICORN BIRTHDAY CAKE
So I tried to only add a few of those elements but she was very quick to remind me of what I was missing.
I think my kids may be a little spoiled when it comes to cake!

The unicorn was made with fondant. I just winged it by looking at a picture and forming the pieces by hand. I made the body first and then just adeed the head, legs, and hair. Sorry I don't have much more detail but I just went with it.
