Summer Rose Nail Art

Painting my nails takes me, on average, an hour but I’ve been known to sit for 2 or a little more on really complex designs. This design took me less than an hour. It’s one of those that looks super nice but isn’t too time-consuming because you can’t forget about the dry time afterward where you can’t do half the things you want to in case you would smudge a nail. Ya feel me? Try out this beautiful Summer Rose Nail Art!

Summer Rose Nail Art

So for this design, I painted the base white and then did some black dots over top, easy enough right? Now roses on a nail are something that looks deceptively hard but are actually really super easy. So you first pick a medium shade of pink and makes varying sizes of dots in the corners of your nail. Then you take a darker shade of pink and make curved lines inside of the dots (You’ll know what I mean when you look at the picture) lastly you take your white and do more of those curved lines in the rose dot. Yup, it’s that easy! Just add your leaves and your roses are done.

I also added some small dots of yellow and blue to spice up the look and that’s pretty much it. You can always do roses of different colors too, they don’t have to just be the classic pink. I find it works best though if you start with the medium shade for the base of the rose and do the curves with a darker shade of that same color, and of course always add the white for texture. I hope you are ready to take on the challenge! Good luck.

Wow, very nice. Thanks for the description of how you did them and it really doesn't sound so hard. I might have to try this, even if on one nail.
