Summer is a time when schedules and routine fly out the window. I use these summer months off of school, to enjoy the local attractions and scenery that we sometimes don’t get to enjoy during the busyness of the school year.
4 Affordable Summer Fun Activities to do With Your Kids
#1 – Splash Pads
Most splash pads have free admission, for at least part of the day. On those super hot summer days, take your little ones to your local splash pad to cool off and play with other kids.
#2 – Picnics at the Park
Pack a picnic lunch and walk to the park, or have your little one drive the Barbie Tough Trike.
Once at the park, have a picnic lunch on a blanket and spend time playing with your kids in the park. Spending time as a family can promote healthy family relationships and bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
#3 – Nature Walks
Write up a list with your little ones of different items to find outdoors.
Then take a walk in your back yard or down the street to find the things on your list. Get creative and allow your children’s imaginations to run free!
#4 – Pool Time in the Backyard
Purchasing a backyard pool can provide hours of fun and entertainment for your kids.
Of course, playing in the pool is always more fun with toys! The Minnie and Friends Bath Squirters make the perfect pool time toy and help keep cool on those hot summer days.
