Sugar Snowflakes on Hand Trees

Today for our craft activity we kept the theme of Snowflakes.
First I traced the child’s hand onto BROWN scrapbook type paper.
They cut out the hands (with quite a bit of help)
We glued them onto BLUE construction paper
I cut out WHITE construction paper “snow” and we glued it to the bottom of the page.
Then the children dipped their fingers into white glue to make snowflakes. (it was at this point that I remembered to get my camera)

We quickly poured SUGAR onto the glue to make the snowflakes SPARKLE!

Then tapped off the extra sugar into a bowl

and Voila…

This was a FUN craft. (The pictures just do not do justice)

We did another hand tree type craft HERE
