I purchased some clearance place mats (with cork backing) from Superstore a while back for .21 cents each.
Then I drew each place setting onto the back of each place mat.
Snow White was very happy to do this work!
I found the cutlery at our local MCC thrift store. Most of the forks only have 3 prongs, but I think it will work just fine. (Who can complain when they only cost .10 cents each)
Tim Seldin talks about this activity in his wonderful book “How to raise an Amazing Child the Montessori Way”.

I got my cutlery at the thrift store too! Love the thrift store! My kids always enjoyed this activity - and it doesn't take long before they can do it at the regular table!
