Make a Baby Registry with Sears & Have a Chance to WIN! #SearsBabysRoom

Having a baby join your family, is an exciting time in your life.

In addition to the excitement of having a baby, shopping for baby is just as exciting!

Sears makes it easy for you to let your family and friends know about all the great products you want to stock your baby’s nursery with.  Being a SearsBabysRoom ambassador, I have the privilege to tell you about the Sears gift registry and how easy it is to set one up.

Simply head into your nearest Sears store, or go to sears.ca to start setting up your registry.

Type in all your important information, like your name and baby’s due date and start selecting all the items you want.  The great thing about the Sears gift registry is that you can change and edit it on-line and in store.  You can even download a baby check list to make sure you don’t forget anything.

Family members wanting to spoil your little bundle of joy (and you in the process) can check your registry at their nearest Sears store or on-line, and purchase all the items you have marked off.  There is even the option to add Sears gift cards on your registry for those unforseen items you may be needing.

Waiting Game Contest

Of course, winning EVERYTHING on your Sears Canada’s Baby Registry would be a fantastic present for parents-to-be.  Sears has a great contest called “The Waiting Game”.  It gives parents the opportunity to win the value of all the items on their registry.  It’s really quite easy — just create a registry and register for all your favorite items.  Then all you have to do is guess the date of your baby’s arrival!  The date can be changed up to two times, at least 60 days prior to the “guesstimated” original date.  If you are lucky, and your little bundle of joy comes on the date you guess, you will receive coupons in the amount of items purchased off of the registry.  You can see all the details of the Waiting Game Contest HERE.

Baby Days

Finding deals when shopping for baby items was always high on the priority list for me.  Why spend full price when you can get the same item on sale or on clearance?  From January 11th, 2013 to January 24th, 2013 Sears will have almost all their baby items on sale!  That means you (or your family members shopping for you!) can find cribs, strollers, travel systems, travel accessories, nursery furniture, high chairs, boosters, playards, bouncers and swings for 15% off!  Sears will also have 20% off all humidifiers, monitors, carriers, gates and Halo sleep sacks!

In addition to these great discounts, there will be selected items at even BIGGER discounts!  Check your local flyers for all the great deals that will be happening during this event.

Spot the Seal Contest

Sears The Baby’s Room has been certified by PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved).  Because of this great certification, Sears Canada has another great contest for you!

Contest Details:

The PTPA contest will run from Jan 11-31, 2013.  To enter, take a picture of yourself in-store with the PTPA seal.  Once you have your picture, share the photo on Twitter or on PTPA’s facebook page.  Remember to tag @PTPA & use the #SpotTheSeal hashtag to be entered into the contest!  The PTPA Seal of Approval will be found on every cash desk in the Baby’s Room at all Sears stores.

The Grand Prize winner will be selected on Feb 1st and the prize pack (valued at $929.95) includes:
