I have been working on developing this Paleo Chocolate Fondue recipe for some time. My Paleo Thumbprint Cookies were such a hit so I’m excited to share another Paleo friendly dessert with you all.
We had friends over for New Year’s Eve and they all agreed that this dairy free, refined sugar free chocolate fondue recipe would be sure to please anyone, paleo or not.
Paleo Chocolate Fondue
This dairy free, refined sugar free paleo chocolate fondue is sure to please everyone at the table, even your non Paleo eating guests. The chocolate almond combination is hard to resist.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- drop of vanilla
- pinch of pink salt
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a small saucepan over low-medium heat. Stir till completely melted. The mixture will look a little oily, keep stirring for 2-3 more minutes until is is a creamy texture.
- Put the chocolate mixture in a fondue dish and enjoy with fresh fruit immediately or place mixture in covered dish and heat/stir before serving.
- Enjoy.

This was delicious! I only used 1T honey and thought it was perfect. I wondered what the almond butter would do but it just blended in and made it creamy.

I had my first chocolate fondue last month. I d like to repeat the experience but with a healthier recipe and yours looks like it will fill the bill!

I experienced my first chocolate fondue in a restaurant and really enjoyed it although I found it a bit sweet. I am looking forward to trying your recipe...it sounds delicious.
