Now that is a “Fruit” cake!

No, it’s not fruit cake but topping your cake with fruit adds a lot of color and pizzazz.

You don’t need a lot of skills to cover the sides of a cake with wafers or cookies and to top it with some colorful fruit.

I used strawberries for the red but some candied cranberries would look really cute too.

So if you’re in charge of bringing the dessert during this holiday season, impress your friends and family with this easy to assemble cake!
