Mitten Making

First trace the child’s hands (fingers together)
onto paper…any scrap that fits their hand would do.Have them cut them out (or help them with this step)
Color the mittens (we used these).
Use up scraps of ribbon or fabric to add a special touch.

Tape yarn to the back of each mitten so they hang together in a pair!
So cute!Easy and fun!

Make sure to have the child print their name and age on the back so you have a nice keepsake of how little their precious hands were at this age!

This is such a neat idea! We're "studying" snowmen right now, and I had a couple of mitten activities planned. I may have to add this one to the to-do list! :)
