Lunch time is fun time especially with FunBites. As you know from my lovable lunches posts, lunches and snacks in our home are full of fun. FunBites is a way to make your lunches and snacks more fun for children and a way to get them to eat more of what you want them too, did I mention it is super easy too?!?
FunBites is a fun way to make sandwiches, wraps, fruit and veggies into small bite-size pieces. Simply take the cutter and press into desired food item. Once “pressed” take the plunger and press the newly shaped food out of the cutter. The neat thing about the design of this model is the unique shapes it creates. Our daughter had a fun time moving the shapes around and trying to make a picture.
The joy of this product is the ability to make your kids eat their veggies. As adults we are more apt to eat something that looks appealing. The same is true with kids and having fun shapes. If a child sees a fun shape they will be more drawn to it. So use these shape makers for everything from apples to zucchini.
Having used lots of sandwich cutters the worst part about them is the cleaning. Well these Fun Bites are dishwasher safe so clean up is just as simple as placing them in the dishwasher and walking away. I have also notices that many other sandwich cutters are weak and flimsy, giving them a limited shelf life in our home. These cutters feel strong and tough so I know they will last for many many, many lunches.
These cutters are a hit in our home. Everything from sandwiches to veggies that have been cut flat are being eaten at a record pace in our home thanks to Fun Bites. I invite you to try this out and share some of the fun creations you have made with us.
FunBites are available for purchase in Canada from TinyWiggles.com or in the US from FunBites.com.
