I’m real and this sucks.

Right now I should be posting another giveaway as it is our “Week of Giveaways Summer Celebration” but I just can’t do it.
You see, I am human and as I say in the About me section…I NEVER want to come across as one of those “perfect-have it all together type” mommy bloggers.

Today has been a rough day. Today a family from our church experienced a loss. A wife lost her husband, and 3 kids lost their dad. This was not supposed to happen, yet it did and life will never be the same. He was supposed to come home after surgery – yet he will never walk through the front door again.

As I go back to my regular life and blog schedule, this family will be grieving and have to make a whole new normal. This sucks. It’s not fair, yet it is the way it is.
I am glad that this family has supportive friends, but I am even more glad that they have God. God will carry them through this.
