I saw this idea on a craft website (I forget which one) and also on Chasing Cheerios. Snow White loved it! You fill the ice cube tray with water, add a few drops of food coloring to each and then place a Q-tip (or something like it) in each cube spot. Freeze and then take them out to paint with after they are frozen. A HUGE HIT!
