Today we talked about the need for family and friends. The children took turns talking about who they loved and why and they drew pictures about it.
They also practiced cutting and folding while making a heart collage. they cut and pasted pictures of the word family and pictures to represent their families) mom, dad, sister, aunt etc.)
SW also worked with the knobbed and knobless cylinders simultaneously, the bow tying frame, the shoe lacing activity, twisting twist ties together, printing her first and last name, reading her first BOB book, coloring, grating carrots, and had a practical life lesson review on how to blow your nose.
Little G matched animals to numbers, cylinder block 1, cylinder block 2, peeling a cucumber, matching shapes puzzle, bead transfer with spoon, farm puzzle, walking on the line, and had a lesson on how to ask for help.
Little Belle has been doing shape puzzles, opening and closing containers, and she always wants to get the cutlery out of the drawer. I have been showing her how to set her place at the table!
