How a #Kindermom Makes Time to Play

Taking time to play everyday is important for children and parents.  Actually it is really important for the whole family.

We are lucky enough to live only about 1 block away from the school where my daughter attends, so me and her little brother walk her to school in the mornings and walk back to pick her up at lunch time.

On the way to pick her up, me and my son leave about 10-15 minutes earlier than we need to.  My son (who is 3) is excited to have those extra few minutes to play on the “big kid’s play structure” as he calls it.  It allows him to run his sillies out and get some fun exercise.

Another way we take time to play as a family, is golf lessons from Daddy in the back yard.  The kids have a fun time seeing how far they can hit ball, and it gets hubby and I out swinging the club too.

How do YOU make time to play?
