Homemade Fruit and Veggie Juice

I’ve often seen those fruit and veggie drinks you can buy in the store. Since I bought myself a juicer I have been having fun experimenting and coming up with my own recipes.

This morning I made a tasty homemade fruit and veggie juice.

It was too good not to share the recipe with you all.

At first I was afraid to experiment and add vegetables, but now I don’t make a fruit juice without adding at least 1 vegetable. I find that carrots work really well with oranges and also give the drink a nice bright and vibrant color – naturally!

I do a lot of juicing. One thing we try to drink daily is wheatgrass juice. I grow my own and juice it with carrots, celery, pears etc.

Oh, I should look into growing that. Since I am not having fruit for the next 15 days juicing is a bit harder - I loved to add fruit to my veggie juices.

That sounds excellent! I just watched Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead and am not VERY interested in venturing into the world of juicing for the health benefits!
