Floral Nail Art

Here is another super summery nail design. Nothing says summer like floral and I’m not done with summer yet!

I was sitting on my floor staring into space trying to think of a unique design when my sister walks into my room and puts this shirt on my bed. It was meant to be! This was what I wanted on my nails. You can see in some of the pictures what my shirt looks like and that is what inspired this design today.

I picked a pink, a yellow, a white, a brown, a dark green and a black for the flowers with a mint green for the base colour. This is not a design that requires you to take your time and spend hours getting the details right. The point is for it to look like a painting and it needs a bit of the messy look to make the design turn out.

I just dipped my brush in the pink paint and made little star shapes and kept adding colours until they looked just right. Then I added the leaves and outlined them with small amounts of black so they had some definition to them.

This design is a simple design, fast to do and looks great!
