Being a Mom can present some challenges. One of those challenges is making sure that your little ones are eating healthy and nutritious foods that will help them grow strong. We buy a lot of fruits and veggies in our house, but sometimes, the thrill of Halloween candy beckons over the great, healthy taste of grapes, blackberries and veggies.
How do you get your little ones to enjoy their fruits & veggies?
Making fruit kabobs is one way. Kids always love finger foods and providing them with a food they can eat with their fingers will likely result in less fighting. Whether you make the kabobs yourself, or let your little ones choose the order this fun snack goes well with some yogurt to dip in!
You can do the same with veggies (although raw veggies are a little hard to thread onto the kabob stick) and serve with ranch dressing to dip in.
Strawberry Shortcake lives in an exciting world that emphasizes fruit, vegetablesand healthy eating. Your little ones can tune into NEW episodes of Strawberry Shortcake in season 3! This 3rd season is filled with fun, adventure and lots of laughs (like always) and introduces a new friend – HUCKLEBERRY PIE – and a bunch of newpets! Huckleberry takes a wrong turn and ends up in Berry Bitty City with his pet adoption van filled with 7 (that’s right – SEVEN) puppies. You can only imagine that these new puppies will bring even MORE craziness to Berry Bitty City.
Remember the Princesses & Heroes contest from Disney Junior? Well you can get 25 BONUS ENTRIES by watching a new episode of Sofia the First on Sunday, November 10th @ 11:30am EST! This is the way to get children to listen, they soak up this information like a sponge if it's one of the cartoon characters telling them about it. :-)

With cartoons talking about healthy eating or show it is a great thing. My kids watch cartoons every morning and catch onto things and sayings so it would be great.
