Crazy Forts to the Rescue on those Cold, Miserable Days #giveaway

Remember those long winter days where you pulled the couches out, draped blankets and sheets over, and spent the whole day inside your fort?  Well you can bring that all back again for your own kids, but without the heavy furniture moving.

Crazy Forts

Crazy Forts is a combination of balls and rods which you can put together in many different configurations to make cool forts.  All you need is some imagination and some bed sheets!

With the weather dropping and with 7-12 INCHES of snow expected between tonight & tomorrow night, I thought it was the perfect time to try out Crazy Forts.

We opened the box, and got everything ready.

Then I went to the Crazy Forts website and looked at all the possibilities.  They have 5 suggestions for you to choose from: a castle, a rocket, a house, an igloo, and a tunnel (of course you can always plan out your own design as well)  Together we managed to decide on 1 design (although I know that we will be doing a different design tomorrow, LOL)

Since we are heading full-force into winter, we chose the igloo design.  The instructions from the website printed out great and gave step by step instructions on how to assemble our igloo.

Putting the balls and rods together was really easy – simply insert the rod and give it a twist to make sure the rod is firmly inserted.

Here is the base of the igloo (I had LOTS of help from little hands)

Now it is playtime!

Crazy Forts

I had a nice, quiet, peaceful afternoon while my kiddos played in this great fort.  Of course it was NO surprise that the minute Daddy walked through the door at the end of the day, they were begging for a new design.
