Given the chance, kids love being in the kitchen. From experience I know that no matter how large or small the role, kids love helping out when it comes to cooking or baking in the kitchen (in fact, my kids perfer to take a larger role in the kitchen now that they are getting older)
While it is easier for me to just make the food on my own, cooking with kids can not only bring you and your children closer, but can also supply them with great skills they will use later on in life.
Here are some great recipes that make Cooking wtih Kids simple!
These following recipes are fun for kids to help out with:
Easy Christmas Holly Wreath Treats
Little Meringue Christmas Trees
Super Easy “Tree Ornament” Sugar Cookies
Caramel Chocolate Dipped Pretzels
While little ones will be able to help with these next few recipes, it would be good for adults to help out too:
Hot Cocoa Cupcakes with Marshmallow Buttercream Glaze
Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Snack Bites
3 ingredient Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookie Balls
No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Lasagna

what clever and delicious ideas. I think it's great kids take an interest in cooking, baking and creating different recipes. I've been watching Master Chef Kids. Wow, those kids are impressive.
