Community Buildings ~ A Guidecraft Review #Giveaway

Community Buildings

A couple months ago we reviewed the Guidecraft Roadway System and Block Play Traffic Signs.  But now we have something that can complement the rest of your child’s learning experience.  Every child needs to learn about community and who is in their community.  So, with with your Guidecraft Roadway System set up, your child needs to know what is included in a community.  Thanks to Guidecraft, you can teach your child about community and what a town may look like.

Guidecraft Community Buildings

The Guidecraft Community buildings are made of sturdy plywood that is ready for eager hands to play with them.  The buildings allow for clearance of small cars to pass through without incident. Standing at 6.5 inches tall, children can play to their hearts content.  They can be placed throughout the town created by your children.  The children will become familiar with most services available in most towns including a:

  • police station
  • fire department
  • hospital
  • school
  • service station
  • and grocery store

They can also straddle the roadways so they can use their imagination.

Guidecraft Community Buildings

What a better way for children to learn about community.

These buildings are colorful and help children become captured and play for hours and hours.  Because of their color and style, they are prefect for both boys and girls.  There are not may sets out there that can claim all these great qualities for your classroom.

Designed for children 2 years of age and older, these community buildings promote imagination and help you as a teacher develop an understanding for children for their community.  As we help children learn about the world around them, this is one of the tools that can help do this.  Help children take ownership of their community and learn about it from their perspective.
