You and your kids will have tons of fun with this simple and cute Framed Christmas Tree Button Art project! And who doesn’t love buttons?!
All you need is a frame, some buttons and glue. You may have some old frames kicking around the house. Dust them off or paint them to freshen up the look. I picked this frame up at a local thrift store for $0.25!
Pick out some paper to glue your buttons on to! I painted plain white white paper, but you can also use scrapbook paper, burlap, newspaper, or a paper bag to create your own unique look.
Place your buttons on the paper to form an outline of your Christmas tree. Once you have a pleasing shape, START GLUING! A glue gun will secure all those buttons in place. Clear drying craft glue is also great for little helpers to use 🙂
Now you have a fantastic and memorable gift, or a wonderful new addition to your Christmas decor!
TIP: If you are piling your buttons on high, you can leave the glass out of your frame 🙂

This is beautiful! I used to love sifting through old buttons at school and sorting them.
