Camp Stove Salmon [Gourmet Grillware #Giveaway $220 value]

Camp Stove Salmon – a delicious recipe for camping. Camp Fire recipes are always fun to plan, but fish is not usually a part of the planning. This camp stove salmon recipe will show you how easy it is to make. The gourmet grillware can go right from the cooler onto the fire making it the perfect camping cookware.

Camp Stove Salmon

1 whole de-headed Salmon

2 tbsp Coconut oil

1 tbsp dill

1 tbsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Soften Coconut oil and spread over the skin (both sides) of the Salmon.  Spread the Dill and Salt over the entire fish (both inside and outside).  Place Salmon on a camp stove or white hot coals on a fire.  Cook for approx. 20 min or until desired temp without flipping.

There are many options out there for grilling fish.  And the traditional way (for our family) is to cook salmon on the BBQ for a great flavor and perfect cooking.  And while most camp food consists of hot dogs or….hot dogs, whole salmon is never thought of as a camp fire option, especially with the traditional cheap racks that are out there that can allow the flavoring to drip away and not remain close to the fish and not distribute the heat evenly.  Well thanks to Gourmet Grillware, you can have that great camp fire  flavor and allow the fish to marinate in its own flavor and juices.  Also the cast aluminum  design has a great way of distributing the heat evenly.  This makes this a great option for cooking thanks to its rugged construction. Just remember, these products are not dishwasher safe (which is normally not an issue when camping anyway 😉 and they do work best if you coat them an oil just prior to using.)

There are many studies that show how great fish is for you and your family.  With Gourmet Grillware, fish will be easier to cook and may become a regular part of your camping meal planing.
