I saw some edible acorns floating around on interest the other day and new that I wanted to make some to go on my cupcakes. They were made of mini Nilla wafers and Hershey’s Kisses “glued” together with some buttercream. After going to two grocery stores, I quickly realized that my town does not carry mini Nilla Wafers. But lucky for me I usually have some fondant kicking around and it was also in the exact shade that I needed. So for the acorns, the bottom is a Hershey’s Kiss and the top is made out of fondant. So quick and cute to top some yummy cupcakes with. I added some color with fondant leaves in yellow, green and orange.
