This DIY crate shoe storage idea is a simple one that won’t take a lot of work – just some creativity!

Purchase wood crates from your local gift or hardware store (or make your own if you like).

Pick a wall near an entrance where most people in your family will kick off their shoes.

Anchor these crates to the wall and go ahead and get creative with their configuration.

Once you have the crates secured to the wall, line the crates with pieces of rug or laminate so that you can easily clean the gravel and dirt out of the crates.

Now you are ready to fill these DIY SHOE STORAGE CRATES with your families footwear.

This is a great idea to keep shoes and boots off the floor and out of the way!

Another great DIY storage idea is lockers!

This way everyone has their own designated space.

The bottom cubbies allow for shoes that are used every day to be stored.
