A Christmas Spin on Tribal Nails

Here is a Christmas gift set from OPI that I think is very practical; as practical as nails polish get, anyways. You can buy this set of ten mini polishes and plunk one or two in a stocking, and some more in another. Mini polishes are great gifts because  you can get a person a few different colours for the price of one colour in a larger bottle.

Tribal nails

This set includes:

  • Alpine Snow
  • Bubble Bath
  • Tickle My France-y
  • Toucan do it if You Try
  • Cajun Shrimp
  • Haven’t the Foggiest
  • Princesses Rule!
  • Big Apple Red
  • Malaga Wine
  • Lincoln Park After Dark

OPI Trend on Ten

The design I did this week only shows off three of the ten polishes but I’ll have more pictures of the rest next week. In this Christmas spin on tribal nails I used Alpine Snow, Big Apple Red, and Haven’t the Foggiest. I used two coats with each colour and they turned out nice. Big Apple Red was the deepest red of the collection and it has no shimmer to it. Haven’t the Foggiest was the complete opposite, full of simmer and shine and looked really nice contrasted with the red and white beside it. For the tribal print I just started painting lines and dots and this is how it ended up! That’s the great thing about these types of designs, there is really no wrong way to do it, and it will be different each time.

Tribal Nails with a Christmas Spin

The one thing I wouldn’t recommend is buying a white in a mini bottle. White is such a staple colour that you’re going to use lots and it just makes more sense to have a big bottle for a basic colour like black, or white.

Whether you’re buying for yourself to try out a bunch of colours, to give them all away, or keep a few and give a few, overall Trend on Ten is a great set for the holiday season.
