Nails Wrapped for the Holidays

There are many different nail designs that you can see on the blog, but these Wrapped for the Holidays duos from OPI would be perfect for fall get-togethers and holiday parties.

Wrapped for the Holidays

There are 3 different Wrapped for the Holidays sets and this pairing includes Love is Hot and Coal, and Rollin’ in Cashmere. Both of these polishes have a slight shimmer to them and are making me become excited for Christmas already. Rollin’ in Cashmere is a bit of a thinner polish and I had to use three coats to get the normal coverage of the nail, but it looks great and definitely worth that extra coat!

Wrapped by OPI

All three of the Wrapped for the Holidays sets include a free cheetah print infinity scarf that you can see in a few of my pictures. The design I did is really simple and could be done by most people. First, I applied the base colours alternating between the gold and the brown. I then sponged on the opposite colour starting in one corner and fading it to the other corner of the nail.

Wrapped Nails

I do my sponging with tweezers. Yup, tweezers. I got this idea a while back (probably from a YouTube video) and conclude it’s the best way to sponge some colour onto your nails. To do this, take a sponge and rip off a small piece of it with the tweezers. Hold the tiny sponge piece with the tweezers and dip it into the polish you want to use. Now, you can add some colour to your nails with a sponge, without the messy clean up. I then added some dots with the original base colour to the sponged area, top coat, and your done!

Will this nail polish duo be on your Christmas list?

I can't believe how talented Meg is. The different colours and the Polka dots are such a design choice.

Great idea with the tweezers, never thought of that! I can't do my own nails, but yours look awesome and gives me a good idea for what I want to get done for Christmas holidays!!
