Learn Baby Learn!

Learn baby learn.

Fisher Price Baby
They say babies are the fastest learners ever. If you think about it, when they are born they only know how to suck & cry – even opening their eyes takes a while.  The learning begins right from the moment the baby is born, so what can we do as parents to help our little one’s on this journey of learning?

I know in our home we tried to get learning tools (toys) that would best help our kids learn in the most fun and effective way. Toys are constantly evolving and Fisher Price is there to help with this process.

The Click n Learn Remote is a great way to awaken the senses of your little one with the remote that almost looks like daddy’s. If your babies are anything like mine, they always seem to find that remote – now they can have their own.

With large child sized buttons, children have no issues pressing them to create all sorts of lights and noises to help them learn and see what they can do. As they press various buttons they learn new songs and tunes that they will no doubt learn to sing along with as they grow.

The bright colors attract them, drawing them in while also helping them learn about numbers, shapes, opposites and various phrases.

Buttons, songs, and learning fun! The Click ‘n Learn Remote has them all.
Here are some ways to engage your baby in play:
Invite baby to explore and discover all of the buttons on the remote. Each one has a different response. As the toy responds to baby’s actions, the concept of cause and effect is introduced.
Sing along to the songs. As you sing and baby listens, you’re boosting developing vocabulary by exposing them to rhyming words and phrases.
Count as you press each number. You’ll show that each number has its own name!
Introduce colors and shapes. “That’s the red button, let’s find the green one. The purple button has a red square — and a green triangle too!”

With both French and English available this is sure to be a hit for your home. I always loved when toys were available in French and English – since we are raising bilingual girls – toys like this always were a hit with me.

While this Fisher Price remote helps children learn in all sorts of ways, I could not help but reflect on how I taught my girls and the different styles I used. I know that playing with my children while they were young helped them learn many skills and also reinforced our bonding time.

Fisher Price has always had quality products that I trust and I feel comfortable and confident recommending them to the next generation of new moms.

How did/are you incorporating new learning concepts for your children?

I babysit my great nephew 2 to 3 times per week and he's always after the remote! This would be perfect for him!

Its impressive to see how quickly babies learn. My son will try to figure things out if they are not working and adjust his ideas. He loves remotes, trains, cars and can turn the tv on and off.

Got my daughter her own remote toy after she was expressing so much interest in ours. Unfortunately, ours is still more interesting, and she hardly plays with her own ;-)

Sara went to speech therapy. She had problems with her ears, nose and throat when she was little. She had an amazing teacher that encourage parent participation in reading. I love book, bookstores, libraries and so does Sara so reading was always something that she loved doing and still loves. She had several FP products that helped along the way too!
