THE BEST RICE KRISPIE TREATS FOR SCHOOL SNACKS

Large saucepan

Decorating bag

Large star decorating tip

Cupcake pan

Cupcake liners

Non-stick cooking spray

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

15oz marshmallows

3 Tablespoons softened butter

sprinkles

1 jar vanilla frosting

Instructions

In the large saucepan, combine your marshmallows and butter and heat slowly until the marshmallows get puffy and the butter is melted.

(If you want to use your microwave, place the marshmallows and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows get puffy and the butter is melted.)

Mix in the Rice Krispies cereal and let cool.

Spray the cupcake pan with a non-stick cooking spray.

Fill the cupcake pan molds with Rice Krispie treats and press down firmly.

Top with sprinkles and press them into the Rice Krispies.

Remove the Rice Krispie cupcakes and place them into cupcake liners.

Place a star tip in the decorating bag and fill with frosting.

Frost the center of each cupcake and top with sprinkles.
