Do You Want To Build A Snowman? #CanonL

Do you want to build a snowman?

Winter is coming to an end and and with that, there is some relief in sight.  Being an “outdoors” family we tend to take advantage of the days when the sun out, it’s a bonus when it’s not dreadfully cold.  The weather has been warming up outside which means that snow starts to get sticky. Sticky snow is perfect weather for snowman building, so our girls were excited when we asked them….”Do you want to build a snowman?

The girls began rolling the sticky wet snow and in no time, a small snowball turned into a very big snowball, perfect for the start of a giant snowman.

While this is a very fun activity, taking pictures of this can be a real challenge.  With the bright snow crystals bouncing light in every direction and my girls with their bright colored jackets, they tend to “wash out”.  However with the with 2 aspheric and 2 UD elements, the EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM delivers high- quality images with excellent detail throughout the entire zoom range. A 9-blade circular diaphragm delivers beautiful, soft backgrounds.

And while making snowmen may not be a fast paced sport, the girls are quite quick to make their Olaf inspired snowmen.  The Canon 24-70mm 1.4L Inner focusing and ring-type USM deliver, fast, quiet auto focus.  This can allow me to concentrate on other factors of a complex photo and not have to worry about if I am going to be able to capture the perfect photo or not in time.

Look at the giant snowman – a giant snowman for some giant fun and giant memories in the making.

Looking at this last fun snow day, their colorful jackets and the bright sunny day with the clean white snow all blends well together to make this day a winter wonder filled day that we will not forget as a family.

Great pics = great memories. We have a Nikon DSLR and I hope with some practice I can learn some basic features to capture the best photos. Right now my fiance is our main photographer.

That looks like so much fun. Living in Florida, we don't get to build snowmen. My grandkids would have a blast building a snowman.
