I love twitter. I signed up for a Twitter account 1 year ago today, but only started to really use it in March. Up till now I have always got e-mail notifications when I get a new follower.
I don’t know about you, but seriously…I have ENOUGH e-mail. I just could not keep up anymore.
I did it. I actually turned off my e-mail notification (insert scream).
Why does this feel like a big deal to me? Am I the only one?
From now on I will follow people who actually msg me on twitter. Real people. If you spam me, I will BLOCK you!

If you follow me on Twitter and I am not following you back please let me know. I would love to follow you back (if you are not some kind of creep anyway).
I will not auto-follow everyone back as I do not want my stream to become spamified LOL.
Happy Twitter birthday to me. Sometime change is good. Tell me your thoughts on this.

It's my new years resolution to get better at twitter. Maybe after I've been using it a year I will remember to actually sign in once in a while and check stuff. It's probably worse to have an account that you don't check than to not have an account at all. I always feel bad when I get on and see that someone set me a DM like 2 weeks ago. Yikes.

Oh twitter is like a necessary evil sometimes. I too get annoyed when you try to start up a chat and people don't respond.

I am still holding out as it is hard for me to stay on top of my blog, much less something else, but you do make it sound tempting, as I know how much you like it...Hope to catch up soon. well..I didnt even know you could stop those emails..lol..have to check into that! I just check all the twitter emails and delete without even looking at them..lol..I dont follow everyone back,only people who talk to me or I want to follow! I also block spammers! Hate it! I have never used hootsuite or anything else,only regular twitter.:) Happy twitterversary!

I don't follow everyone who follows me. I follow the people I want to. I've always done that.
And I HATE Twitter Spam. It drives me nuts. I especially hate when people search for Key Words and then send you msgs that have nothing to do with anything you're tweeting.
Case in point - I complained that I couldn't find a sitter for classes hubby and I have to go to. I got a spammer tweeting me about work at home typing jobs. Uhh ... ok?!
